The DGLFFL is a 7v7 coed flag football league. There are two 25-minute halves with a running clock for the first 23 minutes; see rules for the last two minutes below.

• Offensive: Every offensive position (Quarterback, Block, Center, and Receivers) is eligible to receive a pass. Receivers are not allowed to engage in contact off the line and downfield blocking is not allowed. There are no fumbles.
• Defense: Defenders (Safety, Linebacker, Cornerback & Rusher) may engage each receiver one time within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. There is no bullrushing allowed.
• Scoring: A touchdown nets the scoring team six points and they gain the option trying for 1 (from the 5 yard line) or 2 (from the 10 yard line) extra points. There are no field goals in this league.
