About Denver Gay Lesbian Flag Football League
Looking for a vibrant sports league that balances athletics with community building?
The DGLFFL is the home of Colorado’s premier 7-on-7 LGBTQIA+ flag football league. Established in June 2008, the DGLFFL is one of the largest flag football leagues of its kind in the United States with over 350 members. The DGLFFL is part of the National Gay Flag Football League, an organization which empowers thousands of LGBTQIA+ athletes and allies across 28 city leagues to compete, connect, and unite through sport.
The DGLFFL’s mission is to foster community through sport and to promote positive social and athletic enjoyment of flag football among the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer community and our straight allies living in the greater Denver area.
Our seasons consist of 20-24 teams of 14 players ranging in age, gender identity, and football experience—we offer several development sessions & clinics for folks new to flag football! Games are typically played on Sundays at Cranmer Park or Garfield Lake Park. Please note: our playoffs do include Saturday games.
