Mile High Club (MHC)
Established in 2010, Mile High Club (MHC) is a women's travel flag football sub-organization of the DGLFFL. MHC competes at various National Gay Flag Football League (NGFFL) tournaments across the U.S. including: Gay Bowl, Sunshine Cup, Pride Bowl, and more. MHC's vision is to form cohesive competitive teams and improve as individual players that will ultimately bring championships to Denver all the while conducting ourselves with respect, dignity, and playing in a manner consistent with the MHC mission.
MHC remains a powerhouse at women's national tournaments having won Gay Bowl every year since inception and has over 10 Championships and Runner-Up wins across other tournaments. MHC's mission is to represent Colorado with pride, camaraderie and class in women’s competitive flag football, while demonstrating the strength, talent, athleticism, and spirit of Colorado's LGBT community and allies.
Denver Summit
Established in 2008, Denver Summit Football Club is a travel flag football sub-organization of the DGLFFL. Summit competes in the A, B, C and D "Open" Divisions at various National Gay Flag Football League (NGFFL) tournaments across the U.S. and Canada including: Gay Bowl, Pride Bowl, Sin City Classic, and more. Summit's mission is to represent Colorado's strong LGBTQ+ community with pride, camaraderie, and class by playing our best flag football at each tournament. We hope to do so while demonstrating the strength, talent, athleticism, and spirit of the DGLFFL.
Tryouts
MHC and Summit plan on attending Pride Bowl and Gay Bowl XXIV in 2024, which will be held in Austin, TX - more to be announced. Please reach out to any of the Captains below with any questions or follow the teams' respective Facebook pages to keep up to date on important dates and information.
